Finally one down!

Praise the Lord!! Last night's concert was a resounding success. All the teachers and students involved felt relieved that everything is over. We've all worked hard. Especially those teachers and students in the performing groups. They had spent hours preparing, rehearsing and training to perfect what they did last night. There were many scoldings to get them to keep quiet and behave themselves. I was glad that the students did manage to behave well for the actual performance itself. I wonder if anxiety was the cause for such good behaviours. Haha. My mum was impressed by the kids in CO. (OK, she just told me that those in Guzheng, Choir and Dance were good too!) I guess she didn't expect primary school children to have such a high standard in performing. Our students really did a great job! I'm proud of them too! Even the little angels (P1 & 2) choir gals were sooooooo cute and they sang very well. I think they really enjoyed themselves. Cool! I love the kids!!!

And I really thank God for bringing through the Olympic Month's "Run to Beijing" programme. The kids are really supportive of the programme. I see children running during recess, after school.. even after 5pm! And I was surprised to see some ex students running too! Haha. Now, I have problems trying to record their participation more effectively. I was glad to hear a few colleagues commenting that this is a good programme. Many colleagues showed their support by walking with their classes. I'm looking at continuing this programme for the rest of the year. One colleague said that we should not just stop at Beijing but continue on to other countries that had hosted Olympics before. What a great idea! He'll help me source for a system to help make recording of participation more effectively.

Alright. I shall stop here for now. Going for NE show with the P5 today. Another whole day gone just like that. But I think I'll enjoy myself with the kids. I'm sold to my school... Hahahaha. All for the kids!
